Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Sourcing and Recruitment: Proactively identify, attract, and recruit offshore personnel for seismic and hydrographic projects, including geophysicists, surveyors, vessel crew, and technical specialists. Leverage your seismic expertise to evaluate candidates’ technical fit and operational readiness.
2. Candidate Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews, reference checks, and skills evaluations, focusing on offshore experience, safety compliance (e.g., BOSIET, HUET certifications), and adaptability to remote, high-pressure environments.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with project managers, clients, and internal teams to understand staffing needs, develop job specifications, and ensure timely placements. Provide insights on market trends in seismic recruitment, such as talent shortages or emerging skill requirements.
4. Network Building: Expand our talent pool through industry events, LinkedIn networking, and relationships with seismic associations. Maintain a database of qualified candidates for rapid deployment.
5. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment processes adhere to international maritime regulations, diversity and inclusion standards, and company policies. Track metrics like time-to-hire and retention rates to optimize strategies.
6. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry shifts, such as advancements in 4D seismic surveying or sustainable hydrographic practices, to inform recruitment approaches.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum 3 Years of Offshore Seismic Experience: Proven background in seismic operations, such as data acquisition, processing, or fieldwork on vessels. Direct involvement in offshore projects is essential—we’re looking for someone who understands the realities of life at sea!
2. Recruitment Expertise: At least 2-3 years in talent acquisition, preferably in the offshore, oil & gas, or marine sectors. Experience using ATS systems, and sourcing tools is a plus.
3. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Geophysics, or a related field. Relevant certifications or maritime-specific HR qualifications are advantageous.

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
2. Proficiency in remote interviewing and virtual onboarding.
3. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess technical competencies in seismic roles.
4. Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
5. Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events or client meetings.
